Project Summary

All Things Cat ​is a children's book that revolves around a young child named Hafsah. As she explores the world with wide-eyed wonder, Hafsah encounters a cat for the very first time—an experience that sparks her imagination and opens the door to a delightful journey of discovery.

 

Ema and Shariat reached out to me with a vision. They wanted help illustrating a book that would captivate a young audience with a fun, colorful, and vibrant aesthetic. One of the key challenges I faced was figuring out how to convey each part of the story clearly and effectively—while keeping it limited to a single page. To solve this, I adopted a structure where I would limit each page to one key setting and one action. This approach allowed the story to flow smoothly and keep young readers from feeling overwhelmed by too many actions happening in one illustration.
